Nothing can beat the benefits of bedtime stories. Child educators and psychologists recommend making bedtime stories a routine. Beyond all the developmental benefits bedtime stories offer, it’s a great way to develop strong parent-child bonding.
Being on the bed with their parents and reading out their favorite storybook is a beloved memory for many children. Most bedtime stories are great moral stories too, helping kids learn the values that they should nurture, the importance of acceptance, inclusion, and cultural diversity. Our moral stories will entertain and engage your little one’s imagination and teach them the life lessons in an easy way.
A Tale of Two Butterflies
The book reflects the story of two butterflies named Riley and Philly and their differences that create difficult situations for them, ultimately leading to their everlasting bond.
One of the most important lessons parents should teach their children is acceptance. Children often wonder about the differences in their physical appearance or their friends. Parents need to talk to their children about embracing their differences and accepting and respecting others who look different. It might seem challenging to explain the concepts of diversity, equity, acceptance, and inclusion to children. The story of Riley and Philly will help you start a conversation on these topics. Kids need to realize the importance of building community through inclusion and the strength that comes from a diverse community.
Melissa- The Witch Fairy
Kids of all ages adore princess stories. Be it the story of Rapunzel, Snow White, or the Princess who slept on the pea; these stories are delightful for everyone. Kids are in awe of the old-world charm and the exciting elements such as magic, talking animals, witches and beasts in princess stories. These stories are not just about their happily ever after ending. All these princess stories have elements that support children’s socio-emotional learning by helping them understand the problems that the characters go through and the decisions they take. Some princess stories offer great moral lessons too. For example, ‘The Not-So-Perfect Princess and the Not-So-Dreadful Dragon’ by Jayneen Sanders is a cute fairy tale about empathy, kindness, diversity, equality, and friendship.
‘Melissa – The Witch Fairy’ is the story of a fairy princess who accidentally reaches a witch’s kingdom and spends her childhood happily becoming a witch, unaware of her destiny to become the Queen of Yamdrok.
